Your Plan Isn't Special And Neither Is Ours

Let me make this clear:

The customized prescriptions given to our clients on the Macroholics programs aren't magic, proprietary, or unique.

The formula we have developed and refined over time to facilitate the most effective possible targets for our clients, isn't special.

In today's age of information, giving a good plan to someone isn't valuable on its own and if someone convinces you that it is and you give them your money, I would go as far as saying that you've been duped. At a minimum, it's all but certain that your focus is in the wrong place.

The nutrition industry already has literally countless numbers of effective fat loss programs.

The real challenge, and where we need to shift our focus as an industry, is helping people actually follow these programs with consistency.

If we don't find a way to do this effectively, the Tsunami of chronic illness that is headed our way easily has the potential to destroy this country as we know it.

If you think i'm being a little dramatic, understand that in July, the CDC reported that over 100 million Americans are diabetic or prediabetic.

Building upon this staggering figure, another report done by JAMA concluded that the situation is even worse than we thought. After compiling research and testing over 23,000 people, The Journal of the American Medical Association theorizes the figure is closer to 50% with the discrepancy coming primarily from those who remain undiagnosed as prediabetic.

Here's where it gets really scary. Thus far, the data shows that, "10% of those people with prediabetes become diabetic annually" and according to the ADA "...70% of individuals with prediabetes will eventually develop diabetes."

To add insult to injury, this trend is universal and ignores no demographics with researches concluding:

“Diabetes prevalence significantly increased over time in every age group, in both sexes, in every racial and ethnic group, by all education levels, and in all poverty income groups.”

Life expectancy has dropped drastically two years in a row for the first time in American History. Extrapolate the current trends and figures it's becomes impossible to maintain the illusion that this isn't a serious problem. We simply can't afford the average annual cost ($13,700) to treat the growing number of those with type 2 diabetes. To exacerbate things, this group, which will grow by the millions in the coming decades, will be unable to contribute effectively to our economy at an increasingly younger age.

We have to change or we risk passing down the burden of our inconceivably expensive healthcare that all but dooms my daughter's generation...

Ok... now that we understand the seriousness of the issue, I can get to the point I was trying to make when I first sat down to write this which is this:

The nutrition industry has failed miserably to provide an effective rebuttal to a capitalist food system that has resulted in a country full of food that is:

  • Cheap/Affordable
  • Easily Acessible
  • Hyper-stimulating/Delicious
  • Calorically Dense

I'm not the food police and I'm not suggesting that government regulation could fix this. But it's abundantly clear that the nutrition industry needs to offer something different.

As I explained in Part I:

"The nutrition industry already has a literally countless number of effective fat loss programs.
The real challenge, and where we need to shift our focus as an industry, is helping people actually follow these programs with consistency."

As the full time owner of a remote nutrition program, I have zero hesitation in pointing in the direction of:

Really good, and 100% free fat loss meal plans.

The same goes for:

100% free customizable macro calculators

If these tools on their own held any real value, they wouldn't be free.

Picture someone who has failed repeatedly to have a healthy, consistent, and effective relationship with food that's looking for some help. Now imagine that person settling on the idea of paying hundreds of dollars for a customized meal magic meal plan or a template.

This is the equivalent someone who has never been sailing being sold a map, a gyro compass, and a freakin' sweet sailboat and then being dropped in the middle of the ocean with the sad and misguided expectation of being able to find their way home when they don't even know their cardinal directions or how to raise the sails.

No matter how good a tool is, it's worthless to someone who doesn't know how to use it.

Despite this, the boat analogy embodies how the vast majority of nutrition systems and diets sell and push their products VIA books, templates, and pills that have proven to be increasingly effective in getting your money yet pitiful at eliciting measurable results or changes in behavior.

Make no mistake, At Macroholics we are using the most refined, effective, and scientifically backed methods in existence to guide the principles of our program!

Keep an eye out for the smoke and mirrors all over the nutrition business trying to sell their "silver bullet" in the form of pills, powders, supplements, wraps, teas, and oils.

Keep an eye out for anyone claiming to have a secret, magical, and proprietary knowledge of a unique plan that will finally get you the six-pack of your dreams.

We do everything conceivable to maximize your chances of success at Macroholics and we have the figures to support it but if you accept the following statement in it's entirety, you'll have a much better chance of actually getting somewhere:

Losing fat, getting healthy, and staying that way, is almost certainly going to be way harder and way slower than you think.

Anyone trying to tell you different wants to sell you something more than they want to help you.

We do things differently at Macroholics.

This program focuses the vast majority of our daily time, energy, and resources on helping our clients navigate and stick to our program consistently.

At Macroholics we aren't selling you a plan.

We are selling you a service.

We are selling you unparalleled accountability through community support and a one on one relationship.

We get to know our members as individuals by interacting with EVERY. SINGLE. CLIENT. 365 days a year to help them achieve their goals and conquer all of the things, one at a time, that have caused them to falter in the past.

Our plan for you is a really good one.

But it isn't special.

It isn't easy.

And it isn't set is stone.

It's flexible and ready to be perfectly tweaked over time to identify exactly what is necessary for you to win!

It's why what we do has helped over 600 people from all over the world lose almost 9000 pounds total (an average of 14.2 pounds per client) in 1.5 years of operation...

It's why on the home page of our website it says:

Instead of forcing people to swim or drown, we're going to help them build a tool kit for every hurdle life throws in their way.

This experiment that the nutrition business has been conducting has failed.

It's time to accept that these ultimatum based approaches don't work.

We can't keep expecting people choose between

A.) Changing their entire life to make an unsustainable and restrictive diet work.

B.) Accepting defeat.

There's something better.
