Athletics and sports have always been a huge part of my life. As a result, I'm pretty active. A shoulder surgery in 2014 sidelined me for a month. That sedentary month led to my terrible nutrition catching up. I started working with a personal trainer in July 2015. It didn't change anything; I was running a lot more and lifting regularly, but the scale wasn't moving. After trying to out train chronic overeating, I realized that was the one thing I hadn't changed. Since addressing my nutrition, I've been able to shed the necessary weight while becoming stronger, faster, and leaner.
