I have always been the "teddy bear" type which is the polite way people let you know you're nice but just overweight. I thought "no way a fireman gets fat" I was wrong... 295 pounds of wrong! It was interfering with my job quality and I had to do something. Exercise took some of the weight off but I stalled. I got married and tried several versions of several diets with little to no success as none seemed to be sustainable to my lifestyle. My wife and I then had our first child and things got even tougher. I thus began Macroholics and have not looked back since. Today, I'm under 180! The program fits well into my lifestyle, is sustainable forever, the community is awesome and I see excellent results.
